ALEX J. PERAGINE, ESQ.

Alex is the Firm’s founding member, and his practice areas include commercial litigation, business and corporate law, contracts, labor and employment, insurance coverage for policy holders, trade practices and antitrust, constitutional law, and appellate practice. He has served as Interim City Attorney for the City of Covington and President of the Covington Bar Association.

Alex graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1984.  He then attended Louisiana State University and received his Juris Doctorate in 1988. While at LSU, he was Editor in Chief of the Louisiana Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.  After graduating, Alex was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association, Covington Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court and the American Inns of Court for the 22nd Judicial District Court.

Alex is a New Orleans native, but after many years on the Northshore, he calls Covington home. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and spending time with his son, Max.
